#20 Free Write: It was a dark and stormy night
It was a dark stormy night, thunder and lighting sounded threw out the kingdom. Many of the people in the villages within the kingdom wall were afraid that this might be the end of their time to live on the world. Crying and howls echoed threw the storm of people praying threw threw the night and day. The storm had been going on for 3 days straight with no hint of break any time soon. The water levels of the land dramatically increased by 5 cm a hour. Many of the farms outside the walls were flooded and had killed the plants seed that were placed in the soil. The king in his thrown, full of fear that his rain threw out these lands were coming to an end. He was trying to keep just the kingdom walls standing from the water pressure. He had ordered all his soldier and many of the villagers sons to help make sand bags beside the wall to reinforce it. But the sandbags were not just sandbags to the villagers it was the last hope of survival from the storm that was very cruel to them. Just the slightest leak from the wall would create chaos within the walls of the kingdom. So the king provided soldiers to watch the sandbags threw the day and night to prevent chaos from happening.
